ACT NOW! Inc., is a small non-profit based in Amherst that builds confidence and self-esteem in adolescents, primarily girls, via improvised movie-making. We present MOVIExperience Playshops throughout the Pioneer Valley, and conduct programs in schools and community agencies. The Program Coordinator will have chief responsibility for producing and executing all MOVIExperience programs, including Playshops, school and agency-based MOVIExperiences and special programs.

Call for Video/Media Production Intern
ACT NOW!, an Amherst based non-profit is looking for a film/production intern to help sort through digital archives and create a documentary about our unique work with youth. ACT NOW!’s mission is to empower youth through improvised movie making, the archives on hand are from workshops that have occurred over the past decade. This position would include digitizing files, editing them and getting them into a usable/viewable format.
This internship would be unpaid, though could lead to future positions as a videographer for the organization.
Call for an Office Intern
ACTNOW!, an Amherst based non-profit is looking for an office intern to support the work of the Executive Director and Program Coordinator, both in the office and in the community. ACTNOW!’s mission is to empower youth through improvised movie making, about relevant social and health issues. This position would include updating and maintaining social networking sites and the database in addition to helping with mailings, answering the phone and attending to various programming with youth in the community.
This internship would be unpaid.
