ACT NOW! does the bulk of our work through private and public social service agencies, volunteer organizations, schools, healthcare facilities, arts programs, and camps – running the MOVIExperience for their constituents at their location. We can provide a totally participant-driven MOVIExperience – where the participants themselves make all creative decisions, or we can create themed MOVIExperience workshops to meet the needs of our client agencies. With a themed MOVIExperience, the topic is pre-determined to introduce or help address an area of need or concern. In addition to groups of adolescent girls, we provide MOVIExprience workshops for boys, adults and mixed groups.

The MOVIExperience itself can be short and intense – completed in as little as one to five days. Or the preparatory workshop – in which the storyline is developed, roles are cast, crew positions are filled, etc. – can be done in a series of shorter sessions, stretched out over a matter of weeks or months and culminating in a full or half-day movie shoot. Our goal at ACT NOW! is to provide a MOVIExperience that meets the needs of our clients. As a non-profit organization, our desire is to make our program accessible to those who can benefit from it. We will always do our best to come up with a program that meets your needs and fits your budget. We are also willing to work with potential clients to secure grant funding. Several times a year, ACT NOW! delivers our program directly to the public through Playshops held at various locations throughout the Pioneer Valley and beyond.
